This winter tested everyone's mettle with the snow.
I'm not snow-hardened enough that I didn't enjoy the snuggle and the egg this morning, and the drive through the big puffy flakes was uneventful and pretty.
But I, and my students, thrive with some kind of routine. The only kind of routine we've had for months is the lack of one.
So, besides the facts that I can't wait to garden, and sit on the porch, and be warm enough, I can't wait until I can plan my week and we'll actually be able to complete the plan. The monitoring and adjusting will be to meet student learning needs, not Old Man Winter's whims.
